Job Opportunity: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that offers flexible hours to suit your schedule. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of young people, each with their unique needs and challenges. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, or Science, as well as supporting young people with their social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents and carers
  • Collaborate with our SEN Support Team to ensure seamless support for each young person
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining this if needed)
