Job Description

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN Support Team to ensure a holistic and trauma-informed approach to education
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and evaluations to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
