Job Title: SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting or student's home.

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 per hour

Skills: SEN experience, strong understanding of SEN practices and legislation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individualised educational plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  2. Implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning and development
  3. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  4. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN practices and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching or tutoring
Working Conditions:

Part-time hours, flexible schedule

Work primarily in a school setting or student's home

May involve travel to different locations within Surrey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
