CLARC Recruitment is representing a prominent Wealth & Asset Management firm seeking to appoint an ESG Regulatory Compliance Specialist to enhance their Compliance team in a newly established position. This role is designed for an individual passionate about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters and will involve close collaboration with the front office as they broaden their ESG initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice and support to the organization regarding ESG compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and assess emerging ESG regulatory changes pertinent to the organization and relay these insights to key stakeholders.
  • Formulate and implement internal policies and procedures related to ESG compliance.
  • Build and sustain essential relationships within the organization and with external entities concerning ESG matters.
  • Design and deliver training programs focused on ESG compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG compliance within a fund management context, preferably in a compliance or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG regulations, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with investment funds, including UCITS and AIFs, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
