Job Overview

Vanguard Group is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of ESG Regulatory Compliance Specialist. This position will be responsible for assessing the implications of ESG regulations, incorporating ESG considerations into investment management, products, and stewardship activities, and ensuring appropriate disclosure in reporting deliverables.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a hybrid work model, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a comprehensive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ESG change workstreams, analysing regulation to understand key implications, and plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage activities required to deliver ESG projects.
  • Collaborate closely with ESG representatives across Investment Management Group, Stewardship, Portfolio Review Department, Office of the General Counsel, Data, Distribution, and Technology teams to understand where change is required to meet European regulatory requirements.
  • Produce detailed documentation to record requirements and prepare executive-level communications to summarise high-level impact.
  • Lead workshops to design implementation solutions to incorporate ESG considerations across the business.
  • Coach and support junior members of the team regarding best practice of business analysis and project management.
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans (working closely with programme managers) and define roles and responsibilities of ESG stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years related work experience, with experience in ESG, leading regulatory analysis, and project management highly desirable.
  • Experience in asset management highly desirable.
  • An inherent focus on strategic delivery with ability to 'join the dots' across organisation, especially against specific risk management, governance, and board reporting requirements.
