We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Custody Detention Officers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the police and providing exceptional care to detainees in our custody suites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support detainees with their physical, mental healthcare, and wellbeing needs
  • Escort detainees and make recorded observations as per their individual plan
  • Work with colleagues and the police to deal with any detainee who is a risk of harming themselves
  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for detainees

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a related field would be beneficial, but we will train you in full
  • Competent in IT and using a computer
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
  • Have valid British passport/settled status
  • Subject to police vetting checks
