Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed Orthopaedic Veterinary Practitioner to enhance our team at Animal Trust. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in orthopaedic procedures and a solid background in veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our clinic, you will:

  • Lead our orthopaedic services, managing a varied caseload that includes elective and emergency cases.
  • Perform advanced surgical procedures, including but not limited to cruciate repairs and fracture management.
  • Conduct consultations, ensuring high standards of care and client communication.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of orthopaedic practices within the clinic, integrating the latest techniques and treatments.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A qualification as a Veterinary Surgeon, with a preference for those holding a post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery or equivalent experience.
  • Confidence in performing complex surgical procedures, particularly in TPLO and CCWO.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey medical information to pet owners and collaborate with team members.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for veterinary excellence.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary package ranging from £38,000 to £67,000, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits include:

  • 6 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Work-Life Balance:
