Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Venesky-Brown is collaborating with a leading global infrastructure and construction firm to deliver exceptional results. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage diverse projects, focusing on quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with joint venture partners to build strong relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts to optimize project profitability.
  • Mentor teams to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain commercial contacts with clients and supply chain partners.
  • Monitor and control cost performance data.
  • Produce and present regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely applications for payments and provide commercial advice to the site team.
  • Manage time and workloads for yourself and your commercial team.
Requirements:
  • Successful experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step.
  • Membership of CICES or RICS.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction processes and working methods.
  • Demonstrable ability to mentor and coach colleagues.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
Desirable:
  • Understanding of construction law and contractual terms.
  • Experience in managing multiple suppliers.
  • Proven ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
  • Experience in alliance or joint ventures.
  • Experience in rail or large civil engineering structures.
