Job Summary:

Pyramid8 is seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our team. As a Family Law Solicitor/Legal Executive, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, including complex and sensitive matters, in a warm and confident manner. You will also be required to attend Magistrates court to represent clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload, including complex and sensitive matters
  • Attend Magistrates court to represent clients
  • Work closely with the Director to grow and further develop the Family Law team
  • Support a team of Caseworkers and Paralegals

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's PQE in Family/Child Law
  • Hold Family Law Accreditation, Child Law Accreditation would also be desirable
  • Experience of Legal Aid work
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and to be able to empathise with clients at all levels
  • Self-motivated and commercially minded, with a drive to generate new work
  • Motivation to learn and self-develop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and Case Management Systems
