About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for service users in receipt of care from community services.
  • Enable service users to engage in a range of individual and group community-based treatment activities.
  • Contribute to the leadership and development of the Specialist Learning Disability Health Team in accordance with local and national guidance.
Requirements
  • Post-registration experience in learning disabilities.
  • Documented evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Supervision of staff and/or students.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Leadership/first-line management experience.
  • Experience of a range of learning disability settings.
  • Supervision of staff and/or students.
