Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Calibration Specialist to join our team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instrumentation assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Drive and maintain high standards of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Instrumentation Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair of instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Training and Development: Develop and train less experienced technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Recognized electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in fault finding and installation of instrumentation.
  • Skills: Excellent team building and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Full clean UK driving license.
