About the Role:

The Principal Calibration Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of calibration methods for Hybrid and Fully Electric Powertrains. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to balance performance, energy consumption, NVH, and drivability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement powertrain control algorithms to calibrate and integrate hybrid and electric powertrain systems.
  2. Plan and execute testing activities, including energy management, automatic transmission control, engine control, and vehicle systems (ABS, ESP).
  3. Analyse data and report on findings to inform calibration decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  2. 8 years' post-graduate experience in powertrain or vehicle industry with OEM or Tier1 supplier.
  3. Practical calibration experience in powertrain control, chassis, at vehicle or rig level testing.
