Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Integral UK. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services equipment and other electrical duties in support of our retail property environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Contract Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment.
  • To close and update completed PPM tasks on the site computerized maintenance system.
  • To ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
  • To coordinate specialist subcontractors' requirements for PPM and reactive works.
  • To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
  • To ensure company and site Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • To maintain accurate site records and documentation in association with all site works.
  • To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts and repairs as required.
  • To attend site emergencies outside of normal working hours.
  • To carry out tasks within typical plantroom environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders.
  • To keep and maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
  • To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
  • To comply with Integral's Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures as detailed in the site plans.
  • To complete any other associated tasks requested by management.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • City & Guilds/NVQ - part 1 & part 2 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition IEE.
  • 2391 Test & Inspect (desirable).
  • Experience of working within a commercial or retail property environment.
