Position: Numeracy Educator
Location: Smallbrook School
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Eligibility: UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
Role Overview
As a Numeracy Educator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education for our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborating with the Head of Maths to utilize resources effectively and elevate academic standards.
- Leading the development and implementation of mathematics policies and procedures.
- Creating and executing strategic plans that set clear objectives and success metrics for the subject area.
- Teaching a diverse range of subjects as required to support the comprehensive curriculum delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proof of essential qualifications will be required prior to employment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or a commitment to achieve these qualifications.
- Support staff in meeting the goals outlined in the school improvement plan, particularly in relation to mathematics.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about the curriculum, student progress, and achievement in mathematics.
