About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Smallbrook School, part of Acorn Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to teachers to assist pupils with their educational and social development.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to meet the individual needs of our students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Experience of working with students with special needs.
  • Good standard of general education with at least a C (or equivalent) GCSE in numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
