About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Smallbrook School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to teachers to assist pupils with their educational and social development.
  • Develop adaptable and flexible communication styles to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Role model our cultural and behavioural expectations as a leading provider of education and employer of choice.
Requirements
  • Evidence of essential qualification (Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards).
  • Good standard of general education with at least a C (or equivalent) GCSE in numeracy and literacy.
  • Experience of working with pupils with special needs.
  • Ability to undertake any training or qualifications as deemed necessary by the organisation.
