About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional educational and social development for pupils with complex needs. The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or be willing to work towards it.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide comprehensive support to teachers, adapt their communication style to meet individual pupil needs, and role model our cultural and behavioural expectations. Experience of working with pupils with special needs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide tailored support to teachers to assist pupils with their educational and social development.
  2. Develop adaptable and flexible communication styles to meet individual pupil needs.
  3. Role model our cultural and behavioural expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Good standard of general education with at least a C (or equivalent) GCSE in numeracy and literacy.
  • Experience of working with pupils with special needs.
