Phlebotomist - Relief

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Relief Phlebotomist. As a Relief Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing phlebotomy services to our customers and patients in various locations across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Warmly welcome participants, verify their details, and provide clear explanations of the phlebotomy procedure.
- Conduct measurements such as height, weight, and waist circumference.
- Manage clerical responsibilities, including coordinating appointment bookings for our phlebotomy service and ensuring adequate stock levels of essential materials for seamless service delivery.
- Take and maintain venous blood samples from participants.
- Support on the healthcare counter, providing valuable support to patients and customers, including offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.
- Complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training programme.
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist (12 months practical).
- Ability to work calmly under pressure within a busy team, as well as independently.
- Empathetic, approachable, and able to interact sensitively.
- Digitally savvy and comfortable embracing technology.
- Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
- Prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent.
