Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Relief Phlebotomist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services to our patients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Welcoming participants, verifying their details, and providing clear explanations of the phlebotomy procedure.
- Conducting measurements such as height, weight, and waist circumference.
- Managing clerical responsibilities including coordinating appointment bookings for our phlebotomy service and ensuring adequate stock levels of essential materials.
- Taking and maintaining venous blood samples from participants.
- Supporting on the healthcare counter, providing valuable support to patients and customers, and offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist (12 months practical).
- Ability to work calmly under pressure within a busy team, as well as independently.
- Empathetic, approachable, and able to interact sensitively.
- Digitally savvy and comfortable embracing technology.
- Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
- Prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent.
