Phlebotomist - Relief

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Relief Phlebotomist. As a Relief Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing phlebotomy services to our customers and supporting our healthcare team.

• Warmly welcome and verify participant details, providing clear explanations of the phlebotomy procedure.
• Conduct measurements such as height, weight, and waist circumference.
• Manage clerical responsibilities, including coordinating appointment bookings and ensuring adequate stock levels of essential materials.
• Take and maintain venous blood samples from participants.
• Support on the healthcare counter, providing valuable support to patients and customers, including offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.
• Complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training programme.

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist (12 months practical).
• Ability to work calmly under pressure within a busy team, as well as independently.
• Empathetic, approachable, and able to interact sensitively.
• Digitally savvy and comfortable embracing technology.
• Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
• Prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent.
