Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional support to adults with various mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients to access and engage in their local community
- Accompany clients to appointments, on walks, activity programs, and other activities
- Administer medication and support medication management
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning
- Enhance living skills, such as cleaning, laundry, and setting goals
- Provide an evening meal from a set menu
- Care planning and risk assessment
Requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Understanding of mental health and learning disabilities
- Experience working in a social care setting (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
