Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics to join our team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our Medical Team, you will provide clinical care for children with brain injury and neurodisability, working closely with our Consultant Paediatricians and Senior Specialty Doctors.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference to children with brain injury and neurodisability. You will gain unique experience in Paediatrics, Neurorehabilitation, and management of Neurodisability. Previous experience in Paediatric Neurodisability is not required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess new children under supervision, identify clinical risks, and write medical reports.
  • Provide regular medical support, working closely with the child's consultant and senior specialty doctors.
  • Contribute to the admission of all new patients and provide day-to-day supervision of the children.
  • Manage clinical cases with the support of the consultant and under their supervision.
Requirements
  • Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice.
  • Strong clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family-focused interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, supportive, and can-do approach.
  • Willingness to take study leave and commit to receiving training in Paediatrics, Neuro-disability, and Neurorehabilitation.
