Dabster is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team of developers focused on building cutting-edge software solutions for the global OTT streaming industry.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software engineering tools that power our innovative platforms. You'll collaborate closely with a highly skilled team of engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software engineering tools for our global OTT platforms.
  • Contribute to the architectural design and development of purpose-built platforms within our team.
  • Write resilient code that undergoes continuous testing, deployment, and operation across diverse cloud environments, on-premise infrastructure, and a wide range of streaming devices.
  • Actively participate in a self-organizing Agile team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously improve software quality through code reviews, testing practices, and mentorship of fellow team members.
  • Contribute to the team's technical direction by identifying opportunities for improvement and driving innovation in tools and processes.
  • Develop and enhance data monitoring and alerting solutions, ensuring the security and stability of our client applications.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working across the software development stack with JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, or Go.
  • A strong understanding of software development best practices such as pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Concourse) and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with creating dashboards and monitoring KPIs for applications through alerting and monitoring solutions.
  • Industry experience working on Proof-of-Concept projects and utilizing cloud technologies like AWS to build, deploy, and manage virtual resources.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and collaborating with a team to design innovative solutions from the ground up.
  • Experience working closely with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
