About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang, Kotlin Developer to join our team at Dabster. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering large-scale software engineering tooling for our Global OTT platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Create and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our business, utilizing your expertise in Golang and Kotlin.
  • Infrastructure Design: Contribute to the design and development of our team's purpose-built platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Code Quality: Write resilient code that is continuously tested, deployed, and run at scale in the cloud, on-premise, and across a wide range of streaming devices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Agile team to improve overall software quality, contribute to the team's technical direction, and help upskill team members on Kotlin and Go.
  • Monitoring and Security: Update and improve data monitoring and alerting solutions in the department, while contributing to the security of our client applications.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience working across the stack in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies such as Kotlin and Go.
  • Team Player: Ability to work closely with DevOps and SREs, and contribute to the team's technical direction.
  • Cloud Computing: Industry experience working with Proof-of-Concept projects, as well as with AWS or similar cloud technologies, building, deploying, and managing virtual resources.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills that encourage collaboration and teamwork, with the ability to push for new improvements across the code base.
