As a Senior/Staff Engineer at Sky, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of television broadcasting. Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences through innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy software that reaches millions of customers worldwide.
  • Lead technical initiatives and drive continuous improvement across distributed software systems.
  • Collaborate with product management to align engineering activities and drive project discussions.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure quality assurance, and maintain an active role as a code contributor.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to help them progress in their careers.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in designing, building, and running enterprise-grade frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and React JS.
  • Proven ability to design user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that prioritize customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Professional experience using public cloud offerings from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in developing engineering talent through mentorships and coaching.
  • Good understanding of Agile frameworks, foundational architectural and engineering concepts, API designs, and agile best practices.
