  • Support service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, as well as onward referral.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services.
  • Support social reintegration, enabling service users to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.
  • Design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods.
  • Deliver structured content within group settings.
  • Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators.
  • Tailor workshops to meet the needs of service users.

About you:

  • Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field.
  • Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good IT skills.
  • Be proactive and able to work independently.
  • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions and services.
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage change and prioritize service user needs.
  • Understand information governance processes.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and professional development.
