Aspirations Care is seeking seasoned Intensive Care Support Specialists to join our dedicated team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess resilience, the ability to manage repetitive tasks, and strong verbal, reading, and writing capabilities. A willingness to engage with the community alongside service users is essential.

Our service user has a passion for Aston Villa Football Club and is looking for Support Specialists who share this enthusiasm. They appreciate friendly interactions and value a supportive environment.

The perfect candidate will exhibit a proactive attitude, be capable of engaging in meaningful conversations, and possess excellent communication skills. Trustworthiness, reliability, and a spirited personality are key attributes.

The service operates within a community of self-contained/single occupancy apartments in Stechford, Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals in enhancing their knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
  • Providing stimulation and motivation through engaging conversations and social activities.
  • Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and household tasks.
  • Coordinating and attending healthcare appointments with service users.
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
  • Maintaining accurate records by updating care plans and risk assessments.
