Join Our Team as a Critical Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Medicine Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our Resident Doctors team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in critical care medicine. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our consultant-led team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to inpatients, including clerking new admissions, daily ward rounds, and responding to medical emergencies.
  • Deliver medical procedures as required, including vascular access, airway management, and pain management.
  • Work collaboratively with the ward MDT to ensure seamless patient care and participate in audits and training to continuously improve our services.
  • Support the development of junior doctors and contribute to the growth and success of our team.
Requirements
  • MBBS medical qualification and full registration with the GMC.
  • NHS-trained Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia to ST4 and above, or equivalent.
  • Additional post-graduate qualifications, such as FRCA or FICM, are desirable.
  • Ability to manage complex airways competently and train others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
