Join Our Team as a Critical Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Medicine Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a Resident Doctor in our Critical Care Level 3 Units, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role
  • Support the day-to-day Critical Care Ward and ITU units, providing medical care from admission to discharge.
  • Independently act on medical care of inpatients, including clerking new planned and unplanned admissions, daily patient ward rounds, and responding to medical emergencies.
  • Deliver medical procedures as required, including vascular access, airway management, and pain management.
  • Work collaboratively with the ward MDT, participate in audits, and engage in training to continuously improve patient care and staff development.
Requirements
  • MBBS medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC and current licence to practice
  • Additional post-graduate qualification FRCA/ FICM/ MRCEM/MRCP or equivalent
  • NHS Trained Intensive care medicine or Anaesthesia to ST4 and above, or equivalent
  • Able to manage complex airways competently unsupervised and train and support others
  • Able to demonstrate teaching and mentoring of junior doctors
