We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join our team at MJ Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day payroll requirements, from managing payroll activities to payroll reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the payroll mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll-related queries
- Prepare and review payroll changes files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Process monthly payroll files, including pension scheme management and year-end activities
- Support the Financial Controller on payroll-related matters, including audits and reporting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency
- Experience of processing payroll and working with an outsourced payroll provider
- Good IT and system skills, especially Excel
- A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 pro-rata
- A part-time role with 25 hours per week, spread across 5 days in the office
