Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-time Cook to join our Senior Care team. As a Part-time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to seniors, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and engaging with seniors during mealtime.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to seniors in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Engage with seniors during mealtime, building relationships and providing support
  • Assist with food ordering and inventory management
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the Senior Care program
Requirements:
  • Experience in cooking for large groups or in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
