This organization is a leader in sustainable development, boasting a planning team comprised of seasoned professionals including Planners, EIA Consultants, Ecologists, Transport Planners, Arboriculturists, Heritage & Archaeology specialists, and Project Managers.

They are dedicated to enhancing the built environment while preserving and improving the natural world, and are seeking an Environmental Planner who aligns with this mission.

In the role of Environmental Planner, you will be instrumental in providing environmental planning services across a diverse array of projects.

Your responsibilities will include integrating environmental factors into the planning process, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and positively impacting the local ecosystem.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental assessments and prepare reports, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Collaborate with the Planning team and other disciplines to offer expert guidance on environmental matters.
  • Engage with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to environmental legislation.
  • Identify and manage environmental risks and opportunities in planning submissions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sustainable planning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in environmental planning, preferably within the UK.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
