We are looking for a Planner to join our Infrastructure team in Newark. Please note, due to the nature and location of the site, a full UK driving licence is required, as is the need to be on site.

**You’ll**:

- Provide the link between the planning and delivery teams initiating the short term programme and assisting the delivery team with its development, providing a challenge about quality and results where necessary.
- Lead collaborative planning sessions.
- Programmes are clearly communicated to all users in a way that is accessible for them and that highlights the constraints and resources that they must work with.

**We’re looking for**:

- Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices
- Understanding of various forms of construction documents, contracts (notably NEC) and specifications
- Demonstratable experience of various methods of planning and progress monitoring working for a construction contractor
- Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment, and labour requirements
- Skilled in the use of planning software, particularly Primavera P6
- Competent in the use of MS Office software.
- Relevant CSCS Card
