As the **Demand Planner** you will create and maintain forecast models for core and portfolio items, by gathering key business intelligence from a range of resources and stakeholders across the business.

You will coordinate the purchase activity of outsourced portfolio products, maintaining cost-efficient inventory levels, and replenishing stock levels as required.

**The role of Demand Planner will include**:

- Forecasting and replenishment of a large range of SKUs acting as integration point between sales and operations.
- Maximise OTIF availability to customers through inventory optimisation best practices.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecasts and evaluate forecast results.
- Understand fluctuations in demand as well as seasonal trends, promotional activity and inventory/sales projects to maintain stock levels.
- Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Identify excess stock and liaise with commercial team to develop plans for sale.
- Establish the target stock levels for each SKU for the UK warehouse to satisfy the desired service targets for customers.
- Monitor supplier performance and work with stakeholders to deliver improvements.

**What we need from you?**
- Previous experience in a similar demand planning and forecasting role.
- Proficient computer skills in particularly the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- ERP & MRP system knowledge.
- Experience of dealing with clients both in the UK and overseas.

**Contract** - 6 months FTC

**Salary** - £30-33k + incredible benefits package
