**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting maternity cover for our **SENIOR OPERATIONAL PLANNER**:

- £24,401 (Maternity Cover)**

The Senior Operational Planner is responsible for optimising labour allocation across the Resort by aligning volume demand with resource allocation. With an ability to analyse data, they are accountable for ensuring all department’s resource is deployed efficiently and effectively whilst focusing on building a strong partnership with all departments.

**Key Role Objectives**
- Grounded in the use of analytics and operational acumen to become a key influencer of an effective resort operation
- Ensure labour planning and scheduling optimises labour costs and reduces the recruitment need burden of front-line core guest-facing departments
- Ensure continuous improvement activities and technology advancement within the operations are factored into labour models and future schedules
- Working with resort operational teams to ensure effective use of multi-skilling in our front-line labour
- Carry out standard operational procedures of daily interaction of the operational planning team and resort operation duty roles so that the planning team is an effective decision-maker for on-the-day labour optimisation decisions
- Building positive relationships between Planning & Improvement team and the Resort to ensure collaborative working occurs
- Support the multiskilling team to ensure each planning managed department utilises multiskilled employees effectively.

**About You**

You'll need to be enthusiastic, outgoing, approachable, and confident.

Your skill set and knowledge will need to be truly diverse with experience in several (or all) of the following areas - Operational management, project management, managing wage resource through time & attendance systems, understanding the change curve, ability to work with key stakeholders, advanced Excel skills, good personal organisation, and time management skills.
