About the Role

Morrison's is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Analyst to join our dynamic data team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal part in defining the future of data at Morrison's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance
    • Lead and take ownership of improvement initiatives by facilitating workshops and conducting thorough data analysis to establish effective data management practices and identify opportunities for enhancement.
    • Design and implement logical tests to define and maintain high standards for our critical data.
  • Data Quality
    • Establish new data environments and develop predictive models to proactively manage and enhance data quality.
    • Lead data cleansing activities in collaboration with stakeholders, including analyzing data and creating comprehensive cleanse packs.
  • Data Architecture
    • Capture and define Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and contribute to shaping the framework that ensures data lineage is clearly traceable within the architecture.
    • The ability to work alongside technical and business teams to deliver business benefits through data management.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Advocate for Data Governance through interactions with the business.
    • Support delivery plans for strategic projects such as 'how commercial works'.

Requirements
  • Technical - An understanding of SQL would be an advantage, an understanding of how to present/organize data would also be beneficial.
  • Business Analysis - Ability to analyze requirements and translate to business.
  • Communication - An effective communicator both written and verbal, will be responsible for organizing and supporting business engagement forums such as clinics and the data community.
  • Stakeholder Management - Strong relationship-building skills are essential.
