About the Role:
The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the management team, including monthly management accounts and year-end accounts.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Manage and maintain financial systems, including NetSuite, and improve financial processes to increase efficiency.
- Cash Flow and Banking: Manage cash flow, overdraft, and bank accounts, and be the key contact for the bank.
- Team Management: Manage and support the finance assistant, and provide guidance and training as needed.
- IT Support: Provide support to the IT function, including being the key contact for the external IT company.
- Office Management: Provide support with office management tasks, including utilities, maintenance, insurances, and asset register.
- Payroll and Financial Performance: Review monthly payroll reports and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of management experience in a financial role.
- Skills: Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, ability to improve financial performance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Attributes: Organized, commercially minded, able to multitask, collaborative, approachable, and friendly, with good interpersonal skills.
