Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Assistant Accountant to join our finance department. This role allows for a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence with remote work.

Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Management Accountant within the designated division of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of Regional and Divisional Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets to ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting.
  • Ensure that revenue, payroll, and cost accrual/prepayment entries are processed accurately and punctually.
  • Prepare reconciliations for main trading account bank statements.
  • Contribute to the development of precise and insightful management accounts, including key performance indicators such as revenue and margin analysis.
  • Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts within agreed timelines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Part-qualified or experienced in a similar financial role.
  • Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Exhibits a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possesses strong skills in Excel, analysis, and presentation.

Desirable Attributes:
  • Familiarity with Sage X3 software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance team environment.
  • Currently pursuing an accounting qualification.
