We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to contribute to our Management Accounting team. This role is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about finance and eager to support our operations within the Active Care Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of Regional and Divisional Profit & Loss statements and balance sheet entries to ensure accurate month-end reporting.
- Ensure timely posting of revenue, payroll, and cost accrual/prepayment journals.
- Prepare reconciliations for main trading account bank statements.
- Support the creation of precise and insightful management accounts, including revenue and margin analysis.
- Help reconcile balance sheet accounts in accordance with established timelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an AAT qualification or possess relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Exhibit a positive and proactive attitude.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess strong skills in Excel, analysis, and presentation.
Desirable Attributes:
- Familiarity with Sage X3 software.
- Effective communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work independently and adapt flexibly to changing demands.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and improvement.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance team setting.
- Progressing towards an accounting qualification.

- Experience in a dynamic team environment, particularly in private equity or healthcare sectors.
