About the Role

We are seeking a part-qualified Finance Business Partner to join our team at Howden. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your finance career in a commercial environment, with a fully supported study package and a peer group of colleagues studying for professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively support business unit managers in driving performance improvement through clearly presented financials and analysis.
  • Maintain a dialogue on costs with a questioning approach and support the completion of accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets in line with deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and delivering KPIs, and support other areas of finance, including statutory accounts preparation, VAT returns, and audit support.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a desire to develop strong business and commercial finance acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.

You will be results-oriented, with good decision-making skills and self-confidence, allowing you to take responsibility and ownership of workloads and information distributed outside the finance team.
