Job Overview:
This newly established role is essential for enhancing the Finance team in response to the business's expansion.

The individual in this position will oversee all financial obligations for various clients, including a significant energy and services corporation currently undergoing a major transformation initiative.

This role will involve providing financial business partnering support, reporting, and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders, as well as assisting the Account Management team in delivering the contracted services for these clients.


This position necessitates on-site presence at designated locations 1-2 times per week, with the flexibility of working from home for 2 days each week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare client data for internal and external reporting, including:
  • Calculation of fees and generation of client statements
  • Development of all supporting reports and data
  • Weekly reporting obligations
  • Additional ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Preparation of all monthly management accounts related to these clients
  • Creation of commercial models for forecasts and annual planning
  • Scenario modeling and cost analysis for contract renewals, extensions, and additional scopes of work
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams and Senior Leadership in delivering contracted services
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of client contracts
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to stay informed of all activities and ensure all billable work is recognized and invoiced
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability
  • Attend contract review meetings as necessary
  • Support quarterly and year-end external audits, along with internal control audits
  • Continuously seek process improvements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience
  • Proven experience in a busy finance department in a similar client-focused role
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying financial matters to non-financial professionals
  • Organized and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Proficient in Excel
