Director of Academic Programmes

We are seeking a visionary leader
to manage a team responsible for delivering the University of Oxford's hallmark academic access and bridging programmes. The successful candidate will cultivate inclusive learning environments for affiliates at various stages of their academic and career journeys, inspiring learners across the globe to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include:- Developing and implementing programmes that are relevant, rigorous, and culturally-responsive
- Managing a global team to deliver programmes such as RSC Pathways, RSC Foundations, and Graduate Horizons
- Collaborating with the Oxford Sanctuary Community to advance the University's goals within the UK Universities of Sanctuary network
- Developing institutional leadership and engaging in fundraising and reputation-building efforts
- Representing the University as a general ambassador for the organisation and its mission
Requirements:
- PhD or Master's degree with significant research and academic experience
- Proven experience in designing and leading graduate-level academic programmes
- Experience in teaching and facilitating diverse cohorts of learners
