Academic Programmes Director

Role Overview
The Director of Academic Programmes will be responsible for managing a team to deliver the University of Oxford's hallmark academia access and bridging programmes, including RSC Pathways, RSC Foundations, and Graduate Horizons, as well as other enrichment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate inclusive learning environments for affiliates at different stages in their academic and career journeys.
- Develop and implement programmes that are relevant, rigorous, culturally-responsive, and mindful of institutional values.
- Leverage programme management, operations, curriculum development, and teaching expertise to elevate the achievements of the international alumni network of 500+ affiliates.
- Integrate the University's work into the wider collegiate University in close coordination with the Oxford Sanctuary Community, advancing Oxford's goals within the UK Universities of Sanctuary network.
- Develop institutional leadership, engage in fundraising, reputation-building, and serve as a general ambassador for the organisation and its mission.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree with significant research and academic experience.
- Proven experience in designing and leading graduate-level academic programmes.
- Experience in teaching and facilitating diverse cohorts of learners.
