Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTI)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Security Clearance: Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance.

Strativ Group is in search of a seasoned Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to bolster our cyber defense capabilities. This pivotal role is dedicated to safeguarding our essential infrastructure from cyber adversaries. The selected candidate will be responsible for the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of cyber threats that could impact our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threat Surveillance: Continuously monitor and collect threat intelligence from diverse sources, including open platforms, underground forums, and industry-specific feeds.
  • Threat Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential threats, prioritizing them based on risk levels.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and execute threat intelligence strategies, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Comprehensive Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of threat actors, their capabilities, motivations, and methodologies.
  • Intelligence Reporting: Produce thorough threat intelligence reports that outline findings, risk evaluations, and suggested mitigation tactics.
  • Framework Development: Establish and uphold a robust threat intelligence framework.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with security operations teams to incorporate threat intelligence into detection and response mechanisms.
  • Process Enhancement: Regularly assess and refine threat intelligence processes to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
  • Awareness and Training: Deliver training and insights to enhance security awareness throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, or incident response.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing threat intelligence platforms, data mining, and analytical methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying technical information.
  • Analytical Skills: Self-driven with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Desirable Knowledge: Familiarity with SCADA systems and associated threats is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, or CISSP are highly regarded.
