We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Nuclear Medicine department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will provide operational and scientific support to the Nuclear Medicine service, undertaking procedures in accordance with the quality assurance program for Nuclear Medicine equipment.
This includes responsibility for the safe use of complex and valuable imaging equipment, as well as assisting with all aspects of the department's radiation protection commitments.
The role will also involve assisting with collecting and collating data relevant to providing a Nuclear Medicine service.
Main Responsibilities- Operational Support: Provide operational support to the Nuclear Medicine service, including managing set-up and radioactive decontamination for molecular radiotherapies.
- Scientific Support: Provide scientific support to the Nuclear Medicine service, including managing the contamination monitor and gamma probe QC programme.
- Radiation Protection: Assist with all aspects of the department's radiation protection commitments, including contamination monitoring, radioactive decontamination, and radioactive waste disposal.
- Data Collection: Assist with collecting and collating data relevant to providing a Nuclear Medicine service.
