About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Physicist to join our dynamic Nuclear Medicine department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide operational and scientific support to our Nuclear Medicine service, ensuring the safe and effective use of complex imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific and technical support to the Nuclear Medicine service, including procedures for quality assurance and radiation protection.
  • Undertake procedures in accordance with the quality assurance program for Nuclear Medicine equipment, ensuring the safe use of equipment and adherence to radiation protection protocols.
  • Collaborate with the physics team to develop and maintain procedures and protocols for the department, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Participate in teaching, training, and development activities for staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's procedures and protocols, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
