We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Nuclear Medicine department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a Junior Physicist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physics team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and scientific support to the Nuclear Medicine service, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs and radiation protection regulations.
- Undertake procedures for the safe use of complex imaging equipment, adapting to clinical workload and equipment availability.
- Contribute to the development of departmental procedures and protocols, producing and maintaining documentation as required.
- Participate in teaching, training, and development activities for staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
