The Lead Systems Engineering Strategist serves as the central figure for Systems Engineering Governance, ensuring that our Systems Engineering capabilities are continuously improving. This role acts as a vital point of contact regarding Systems Engineering capabilities for senior engineering leadership.

Our diverse product range includes various airborne RF sensing technologies, each at different phases of its development lifecycle. This complexity necessitates that programs adhere to the principles of Systems Engineering to guarantee their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for Systems Engineering inquiries
  • Provide coaching in systems engineering methodologies
  • Offer guidance to ensure comprehensive problem identification
  • Ensure programs incorporate stakeholder perspectives
  • Advocate for Design for Excellence (DfX) principles
  • Deliver expertise in System Architecting and Synthesis
  • Promote System of Systems Engineering practices
  • Support governance in systems engineering
  • Conduct threat assessments and mitigation reviews
  • Identify sector trends and disseminate lessons learned
  • Own and drive improvement initiatives within the sector
  • Enhance collaboration across various disciplines
  • Champion Human Factors Integration
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster continuous learning
  • Develop Systems Engineering expertise within the team
