Field Sales Merchandiser - Beckenham

Compensation: £24,962.64 per annum, with a fully expensed company vehicle available for personal use, and a fuel card that aligns with current fuel prices. Additionally, there is a potential quarterly bonus of up to £800 based on performance.

Tax-free expense allowance: £520 annually on top of the base salary.

Inner London Allowance: £3,500 per annum

McCormick & Company is seeking a dedicated full-time Field Sales Merchandiser to operate in the Beckenham area and its surroundings.

This position involves a 40-hour work week from Monday to Saturday, with Wednesdays off. Flexibility in start times is available, and Sunday work is not typically required, except during the holiday season when double pay is offered. Some overnight travel may be necessary, with workdays scheduled from Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key contacts in major retail chains.
  • Utilize technology to ensure product availability and effective execution in retail environments.
  • Deliver and manage stock to stores daily, ensuring optimal product presence on shelves and adherence to store layouts.
  • Maintain comprehensive store records, including inventory management.
  • Provide support for other brands within the McCormick portfolio as needed.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Possession of a full UK driving license is essential, along with the right to work in the UK and a UK bank account.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • A positive, proactive attitude towards managing relationships and expectations in retail settings.
  • Enjoyment of outdoor work and independent tasks.
  • Collaboration with a broader team to share insights and best practices for business success.
  • Customer-centric approach in all activities.
  • Comfortable with technology usage.
  • Willingness to engage in the physical aspects of the role.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality is advantageous.
