Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Retail Human Resources plc. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting, audit, and accounting for various areas of the balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Financial Controller to prepare year-end financial accounts and group reporting packs, and manage the year-end audit process.
  2. Lead the accounting for occupancy costs, including liaising with the property team to understand and challenge occupancy costs across our stores and Head Office locations.
  3. Manage the accounting for leases under IFRS 16, converting rent costs in the management accounts to IFRS 16 compliant entries in the financial accounts.
  4. Oversee the accounting for Selfridges' fixed assets, including reviewing and processing additions and disposals, undertaking physical verifications, and reconciling the Fixed Asset Register to the General Ledger.
  5. Manage and develop the Finance Analyst.
  6. Work on system and process improvement projects, particularly those relating to improving our accounting for fixed assets.

Requirements:
  1. A qualified accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA, qualified by experience, or part qualified and in the later stages of qualifying.
  2. Experience in producing and/or auditing IFRS compliant financial accounts.
  3. Strong analytical and Excel skills with experience in working with large quantities of data from multiple sources.
  4. Experience in team management and dealing with multiple stakeholders across a large complex business.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse and competing workload ensuring deadlines are met.
